Overview
Flowstar is a well-established and highly regarded company that operates as an industrial valve stockist. Our solar energy project, involved the installation of 78 DMEGC 405w solar panels, two inverters (Solis 20k and Solis 10k), and five Pure drive 3.84kW batteries. The primary goal of the project was to harness renewable energy from the sun and generate electricity to offset the energy consumption of the client's facility.
What we did
Flowstar's solar installation has proved to be highly efficient, generating a substantial amount of clean energy. The estimated annual energy savings resulting from this installation amount to £15,000. By utilizing solar power instead of conventional grid electricity, the facility has significantly reduced its carbon footprint and dependence on non-renewable energy sources, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.
The Flowstar solar project has also demonstrated impressive financial benefits. The initial investment in the solar installation is estimated to be recouped in just 3 years and 2 months, making the payback period relatively short. Beyond this point, the facility continues to enjoy considerable savings on energy costs for years to come. The solar panels have a long lifespan, requiring minimal maintenance, which further enhances the financial gains for Flowstar.
